Traditional Chinese Medicine Trio

Includes: Cupping, Tuina Masssage + Acupuncture

During this 60 minute treatment you will experience three Chinese medicine modalities: Cupping, Tuina Massage and Acupuncture. What does each modality offer?

Creating a vacuum with a pump to create blood flow to where the cups are placed, cups help to eliminate toxins from the body. This suction brings the toxins to the surface of the body to expel it. Works well for body pain.

This modality of massage, works on the meridians of the body, invigorating blood and energy in the body. Some benefits are that it relieves stress, eases pain, and is relaxing for muscle pain.

The insertion of very thin needles in the acupuncture points in the meridians mapped around the body, it stimulates the body to heal itself. The results can be immediate and with a long lasting effect. It can be used to treat many conditions of the human body.

Following your session, enjoy 30 minutes in our volcanic rock therapy studio with a guided meditation.

Traditional Chinese Medicine commonly referred as TCM, has its origins far back as 3000 years ago as a continuous medicine system: One of the oldest in history. TCM views the body as a whole, and recognizes that the body and mind must be in balance to acheive optimal health. This wholeness of this approach means that there is less focus on isolating and naming diseases on the human body. The goal is to make to body and mind energy balance so that the body can use its own ability to heal itself, and prevent illnesses. To accomplish this, practitioners use a variety of techniques to bring balance, thereby treating a variety of conditions. It does this by restoring the natural flow of vital life force in the body.
