1. Registered Massage Therapist

CASUAL/OCCASIONAL/PART-TIME/FULL-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE.

iwa is an award-winning, busy destination resort spa located in the heart of the Blue Mountain Village. We are currently seeking reliable, dedicated, and professional Massage Therapists. The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Be a registered massage therapist in good standing with the CMTO.
  • Ensure that guests feel welcome and comfortable, feel amazing, engaging them in conversation to determine appropriate treatments.
  • Be friendly and passionate about the services provided to spa guests
  • Complete required post- treatment follow-up and documentation.
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain a clean, professional spa environment.
  • Be positive and friendly, helping to maintain a quality, team-oriented work environment.

We offer:

  • On-site Training
  • Competitive Compensation (average compensation with service fee, HST and gratuities is $90-100 per treatment)
  • 7 treatment tables (10 as of December 2022)
  • 60 min hands on treatments with appointment times 9:30am, 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 4:00pm, 5:30pm (no late nights or early mornings!)
  • Generous resort Gratuities (massage includes 30 min Ganban Volcanic Rock Therapy which you are tipped on the full experience)
  • Lotions, oils, linens, tables, music
  • Appointment bookings, including online booking – we take care of it.

We are currently seeking reliable, dedicated, and professional Spa Therapists to join our incredible team. This position will require successful candidates to administer a variety of spa treatments to our guests according to the protocols and procedures provided by iwa Spa, attend training sessions on products and services available to our guests, and act as a true team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide world class spa treatments including: relaxation massage, facials, body treatments, pedicures, etc. We do not offer manicures or any other medical aesthetics – clean and simple!
  • Communicate effectively, positively and professionally
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the spa and work areas
  • Sell products used in services

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a recognized Aesthetic Academy
  • The successful contractor applicant will be required to provide their own insurance. Employee options available.
  • Qualified applicants are asked to submit a cover letter and resume.

Salary: $30,000-$60,000 + per year
